Our Rehabilitation Approach

Our approach focuses on goal-oriented planning with clear, measurable targets from your initial assessment to guide your rehabilitation. We use movement analysis to identify underlying issues and deliver personalised exercise-based programs to restore strength, mobility, and function. Your program progresses through structured strength and conditioning, with pain-guided progression to ensure safe and effective recovery. Regular reassessments and education support long-term independence and help you maintain your results.

FAQ

You may benefit if you are unsure how to exercise safely due to pain, injury, or a medical condition. It is especially helpful for managing chronic conditions or if you are not progressing with exercise on your own.

Exercise Physiologists are qualified allied health professionals who prescribe exercise for injuries, chronic conditions, and rehabilitation. Personal Trainers focus on general fitness, strength, and performance for otherwise healthy individuals. If you have pain, an injury, or a medical condition, an Exercise Physiologist provides a more clinically guided and evidence-based approach to exercise and recovery.

Please wear comfortable clothing and supportive footwear that allows easy movement during your assessment and exercise sessions. We also recommend bringing a water bottle, a gym towel, any relevant medical information, imaging reports, referral letters, and any medications or medical devices you may require during your appointment (e.g. an inhaler).

Your first session includes a detailed assessment of your health, goals, and fitness level. You will receive a personalised exercise plan tailored to your needs.

Consistency helps you progress safely and achieve better results over time. Regular sessions also allow your program to be adjusted and reduce the risk of setbacks.

You may experience mild muscle soreness or fatigue, especially when starting a new program. This is normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours
