Road to Recovery Plan

Our Road to Recovery Plan provides a clear, structured pathway to guide you from injury to full recovery for acute and post-surgery conditions. It ensures your treatment is progressive, goal-focused, and tailored to your needs at every stage.

Your physiotherapist and exercise physiologist will carry out a detailed assessment to determine your diagnosis, identify your current stage of recovery, and set specific goals for each phase. Your recovery timeline is guided by objective outcome measures, allowing us to track your progress and adjust your treatment to achieve the best possible outcome.

You’ll also receive a copy of your Road to Recovery Plan to take home, so you can easily remember what was discussed and stay on track with your recovery.

Rise to Resilience Plan

Our Rise to Resilience Plan is a structured pathway designed to improve independence and quality of life for people managing ongoing or chronic conditions. It helps you better understand your condition, build confidence in movement, and develop long-term strategies to stay active and well.

Your physiotherapist and exercise physiologist will complete a comprehensive assessment to understand your health, goals, and any barriers you may be facing. You’ll receive guidance on pain management, pacing, and healthy lifestyle habits, along with a personalised program to improve strength, mobility, and overall capacity. As you progress, the focus shifts to helping you return to daily activities, improve independence, and manage flare-ups, with ongoing support and regular reviews to keep you on track.

FAQ

We recommend booking a 45-minute initial consultation to allow sufficient time for a thorough assessment and the development of your personalised treatment plan. If you choose a 30-minute initial consultation, your treatment plan may need to be completed and discussed during a subsequent appointment. Most follow-up appointments are 30 minutes in duration.

A treatment plan provides a clear roadmap for your recovery and helps you understand what to expect throughout the process. It is tailored to your individual needs and goals, allowing you to progress safely, effectively, and with confidence

Yes. While a reduction in pain is a positive sign, it does not always mean that your body has fully recovered. Continuing treatment helps restore strength, movement, function, and resilience, reducing the risk of future flare ups or reinjury.

We begin by understanding your condition, goals, lifestyle, and individual needs. Following a comprehensive assessment, we will recommend the most appropriate treatment approach and create a personalised plan designed to support your recovery and long-term health. Your treatment plan will be reviewed and adjusted as you progress.

Recovery time varies depending on your injury, your body, and how you respond to treatment. Some people improve in a few weeks, while others may take longer. We’ll monitor your progress and guide you every step of the way to help you recover safely and effectively.
