How We Treat

We use a range of evidence based treatment approaches to support recovery, reduce pain, and improve movement and function. Each treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Our Approach May Include

  • Manual therapy including joint mobilisation, manipulation, soft tissue massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to reduce pain and restore movement
  • Exercise-based rehabilitation with structured programs designed to improve mobility and function, incorporating progressive loading, balance and coordination training, and movement retraining to support long-term recovery and injury prevention
  • Dry needling (Western approach) to target muscle tightness, reduce pain, and improve neuromuscular function
  • Class IV laser therapy to assist with pain reduction, inflammation control, and tissue healing
  • Ultrasound therapy to support tissue healing, reduce pain, and improve soft tissue flexibility
  • Cupping therapy (rubber or vacuum) to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and support soft tissue recovery
  • Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM) to address soft tissue restrictions and improve mobility
  • Strapping and taping (including kinesiotaping) to support joints, improve stability, and aid recovery
  • Vestibular therapy and BPPV repositioning techniques to assess and manage dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders, including positional causes
  • Neurological physiotherapy using targeted techniques such as task-specific training, balance and gait retraining, coordination exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to improve movement, function, and independence
  • Respiratory and cardiovascular physiotherapy to support breathing, improve lung function, and build endurance using techniques such as airway clearance (ACBT), postural drainage, and breathing retraining

FAQ

Physiotherapy can help if pain, stiffness, or injury is limiting your daily activities or performance. A structured, personalised approach supports better movement, strength, and overall quality of life.

Early physiotherapy helps identify and treat the root cause before it becomes more complex. It supports faster recovery, reduces complications, and improves long-term outcomes.

Physiotherapy focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating injuries using hands-on techniques and early-stage rehabilitation to reduce pain and restore movement. Exercise Physiology focuses on structured exercise programs to improve strength, function, and long-term health, particularly for chronic conditions and injury prevention. Both approaches work together to support recovery, build capacity, and achieve long-term outcomes.

Physiotherapy focuses on assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education to reduce pain and restore movement. Chiropractic care primarily focuses on the spine and uses manual adjustments to improve joint mobility and relieve pain. Both approaches aim to improve function and reduce symptoms, with physiotherapy placing a strong emphasis on exercise-based rehabilitation for long-term outcomes.

No referral is required for private appointments. Referrals are needed for Medicare, WorkCover, DVA, or some NDIS services

Bring any relevant medical documents, referrals, or imaging reports. Also bring your Medicare, DVA, NDIS, or private health insurance details if applicable.

Your first session includes a detailed assessment and discussion of your goals. You will receive a clear diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan.

Regular sessions help track progress and safely progress your treatment. Consistency improves outcomes and reduces the risk of setbacks.

You may feel some relief along with mild soreness or fatigue. This is normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours

Yes, our physiotherapists use hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, and dry needling (where appropriate), combined with education and personalised exercise programs to achieve lasting results.

No, we do not offer remedial massage, but our physiotherapists provide hands-on treatment and rehabilitation tailored to help reduce pain, improve movement, and support your recovery goals.

Dry needling is an evidence-based physiotherapy technique that targets muscle trigger points to reduce pain, relieve muscle tightness, and improve movement. Acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles and aims to restore the body's energy flow (Qi). Our physiotherapists are trained in dry needling and use it when clinically appropriate, but we do not provide acupuncture services.
